The Holy Spirit is the Power and Spirit of God here on earth, He is the Chief Executive and the third member of the threefold Godhead. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is a person with numerous relevance in your life if you will only give Him the chance. Let us look at the Holy Spirit and how His relevance can help you in the storms of life.
As in the book of Psalm 139:7, the Bible says, "where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?" From the above scripture, the Holy Spirit is present everywhere, therefore it is to your advantage that He is 24/7 around you. Whenever you call upon Him, He is ever ready to answer your call because He is indwelling in you.
As in the book of 1 Corinthians 2:9-10, the Bible says, "but it is written: eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God." From these scriptures we can deduce that the Holy Spirit knows all things that have not entered into our hearts. This is an advantage to you that secret things can be revealed whenever you ask Him.
As in the book of Luke 1:35, the Bible says, "and the angel answered and said to her, the Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God." The above scripture shows how powerful the Holy Spirit is, which is to your advantage that your guardian power, comforter, et cetera has unlimited power.
As in the book of Hebrews 9:14, the Bible says, "how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?" He is eternal Spirit without beginning or end, He is unchanging, what He promises to do that He will do without fail.
The Holy Spirit has feelings and He is sensitive to know how you feel also, as noted in the book of Ephesians 4:30, "and do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption"
As in the book of Romans 8:27, the Bible says, "now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God." The Holy Spirit has an intellect, able to think and reason what the saints want and link them with the will of God to bring solution. He is all over our issues, talking with us, unfolding Himself up to us and want us to unfold ourselves to Him in response.
It is impossible to live comfortable and know the power and strength of God without the Holy Spirit. With the Holy Spirit, we experience the depth of God's love in our lives and come into new and stronger relationship with God. He also makes us become more sensitive to the presence of God, Jesus and Himself.
