There are seven symbols by which the Holy Spirit can be identified. As a child of God, you may be wondering how can I know when the Holy Spirit appears before me. He may come to you in real person, in the dream or in other ways to bring message to you. By the gift of discernment you should be able to identify His presence and obtain your spiritual revelation He came to deliver to you. What are the symbols that you should watchout for:
In the book of Matthew 3:16, then Jesus, when He had been baptised, came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God (the Holy Spirit) descending like a dove and alighting upon Him (Jesus Christ). So one of His symbols is the "DOVE". Always WATCHOUT FOR THIS SIGN, may be in real live or in your dream!
In the book of Ephesians 1:13, the Bible says, "In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise". So another symbol of the Holy Spirit is "SEAL" . Always WATCHOUT FOR THIS SIGN, may be in real live or in your dream!
In the book of Acts 2:2, "and suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. " So another symbol of the Holy Spirit is "WIND". Always WATCHOUT FOR THIS SIGN, may be in real live or in your dream!
In the book of 1 Samuel 16:13, "then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the LORD (Holy Spirit) came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah." So another symbol of the Holy Spirit is "OIL". Always WATCHOUT FOR THIS SIGN, may be in real live or in your dream!
In the book of Isaiah 44:3, "for I will pour water on Him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, and My blessing on your offspring." Also, in the book of John 7:37-38, ....If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." So from both books above, another symbol of the Holy Spirit is "WATER". Always WATCHOUT FOR THIS SIGN, may be in real live or in your dream!
In the book of Acts 2:3-4, "then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." So another symbol of the Holy Spirit is "FIRE." Always WATCHOUT FOR THIS SIGN, may be in real live or in your dream!
In the book of 1 Kings 19:11-12, "Then He said, Go out, and stand on the mountain before the LORD. And behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice." So another symbol of the Holy Spirit is "STILL SMALL VOICE". Always WATCHOUT FOR THIS SIGN, may be in real live or in your dream!
