.2. WHY IS JESUS THE SUBSTITUTE FOR MY LIFE PART2

My friends, this is part 2 of the life changing article. I will remind you again that your ability to know why Jesus is your substitute will empower you to obtain victory in every circumstance that confronts you. When He Crossed-over from life-to-death-and-back-on-to-life, ‘the Resurrection’, is the substitute. Your ability to appreciate HIM will empower you to obtain victory over every circumstance that faces you. This article is personalized to suit me, Apostle ALEX and I believe that you too can also appropriate it to suit your identity. JESUS IS THE SUBSTITUTE FOR MY LIFE. There are numerous reasons why Jesus is the substitute for my life. He did what my father, mother, wife, children, brother, sister, relatives, friends, et cetera could not have done for me. Therefore, I am not ashamed to proclaim Jesus Christ on the housetop as the SUPER POWER of God for my salvation. I am not ashamed to teach Him, preach Him and declare Him. Freely I receive and freely I give. I am proud to be a born again soldier of Jesus Christ. Below are some points to take note of. Praise God! Hallelujah.

1. JESUS WAS MADE POOR THAT I THROUGH HIS POVERTY MIGHT BE MADE RICH.

My friend the Bible says in the book of 2 Corinthians 8:9,"For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich."

Furthermore, in the book of Philippians 2:6-7, "Who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a servant, and coming in the likeness of men." Therefore, because of Jesus I am rich and can never be poor in the name of Jesus.

2. JESUS MADE HIMSELF A CURSE FOR ME THAT I MIGHT BE REDEEMED FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW AND RECEIVE THE BLESSINGS OF GOD MY HEAVENLY FATHER.

My friend the Bible says in the book of Galatians 3:13-14, "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hangs on a tree), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."

Also, in the book of Ephesians 1:3, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ." My friends, because of Jesus, I am free from all curses and walloping in spiritual blessings in the name of Jesus.

3. JESUS DIED THAT I MIGHT BE BORN OF THE SEED OF GOD, BECOME A CHILD OF GOD, AND HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.

My friend the Bible says in the book of Romans 5:17, "For if by one man's offence death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ”

Also, in I Peter 1:23, "Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever."

Furthermore, in I John 5:13, "These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God." My friends, therefore, because of Jesus, I am born of incorruptible seed and have eternal life.

4. JESUS TOOK MY SINS UPON HIMSELF THAT I MIGHT BE SAVED FROM BOTH SIN AND THE POWER OF SIN.

My friend, the Bible says in the book of Romans 5:8, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

The Bible also confirmed, in Matthew 1:21, "And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins."

Furthermore, in Romans 6:6, "Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin." My friends, therefore, because of Jesus, I have power and authority over the power of sin and all its associates.

5. JESUS SUFFERED SHAME THAT I MIGHT BE FREE FROM SHAME, DISGRACE AND HUMILIATION.

Beloved, the Bible says in the book of Isaiah 50:6, "I gave My back to those who struck Me, and My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard; I did not hide My face from shame and spitting."

Furthermore, in Romans 10:11, "For the scripture says, Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." My friends, therefore, because of Jesus’ death, I have overcome the power of shame, disgrace and humiliation in the name of Jesus.
