HOW BELIEVERS IN CHRIST CAN RECEIVE AND ACCEPT AUTHORITY

My friend, through obedience to the commandments of God, Jesus Christ received all authority in Heaven and earth. Therefore, any believers who believe in Jesus Christ also receive the same delegated authority to declare in His name and receive answers. Let us briefly review how He got the authority He gave to believers.

To receive something means to take, accept, get and or experience. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ sent by the Father, God to come down to the earth and sort out some corruptible things that were contrary to the principles and ways of God.

He accepted the assignment in obedience as noted in the book of John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” God released Him to us because of love and obedience and He finished His assignments.

In John 1:14, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” Jesus corrected all the wrongs done by the devil and his associates. He came in the flesh and disgraced the devil.

In the book of 1 John 3:8, “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” He completed His purpose victoriously.

The Bible also tells us in the book of Luke 10:18, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.” Satan was defeated and thrown out.

It also tells us in the book of Hebrews 2:14-15, “Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of the flesh and blood. He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” He subdued the power of death and took the keys of hell and Hades. He has therefore ransomed us from the power of the grave and redeemed us from the power of death.

In the book of Colossians 2:15, “Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.” He was victorious over the powers of darkness.

Also, in the book of 1 Corinthians 15:53-54, “for this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: death is swallowed up in victory.” He was victorious over death.

In the book of Luke 1:74, “To grant us that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies, might serve Him without fear.” He delivered us from the kingdom of darkness into His marvellous kingdom of light.

In the book of Isaiah 45:13, “I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways; he shall build My city and let My exiles go free, not for price nor reward, says the LORD of hosts.” He raised us up in righteousness and justice.

In the book of Isaiah 42:7, “to open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the prison, those who sit in darkness from the prison house.” He opened blind eyes and set captives free.

Jesus Christ having completed His assignment in obedience was rewarded by God as noted in Matthew 28:18, “Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.”

My friend, therefore, through the obedience of Jesus Christ all authority in Heaven and earth that was given to Him, He now delegated that same authority to believers, as noted in Matthew 28:19-20, “go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Therefore, when a believer makes the following declaration in the name of Jesus, he automatically receives that delegated power and authority to deal with the pending situations:

Make your Declarations with Boldness........

In the book of Matthew 28:18, “Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.” Therefore, in the name of Jesus, I receive the delegated authority to deal with any situation ......Amen.

In the book of Philippians 2:8-11, “And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore, God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. ” Therefore, in the name of Jesus, I receive the authority and decree the truth of these verses to deal with the situation......Amen.

In the book of Ephesians 1:19-22, “And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church;” Therefore, in the name of Jesus, I receive the authority and decree the truth of these verses to deal with the situation......Amen .

In the book of John 14:12, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” Therefore, in the name of Jesus, I receive the authority and decree the truth of this verse to deal with the situation......Amen.

In the book of Mark 16:17-18, “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they recover.” Therefore, in the name of Jesus, I receive the authority and decree the truth of these verses to deal with the situation......Amen.

In the book of Mark 11:22-24, “So Jesus answered and said to them, Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, be removed and be cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says. Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” Therefore, in the name of Jesus, I receive the authority and decree the truth of these verses to deal with the situation......Amen

My friend, this is the way to receive and accept the delegated authority from the finished work of Christ. If you have been bless by this brief article and you wish to bless the ministries, and then please forward your gift offerings to us below:
