GOD AND HIS COVENANT
My friend, this is a brief article about God and His Covenant. God does not break His covenant nor alter His Word. He is a covenant keeping God., as in Psalm 89:34, My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.
A covenant is not complete unless both parties fulfil their respective obligations to the covenant. A covenant is an agreement that must be kept, adhered to and complied with for it to be effective. Father Abraham was very faithful and because of that, the Abrahamic covenant assures you and I total package of blessings' in our physical health and material prosperity. In Galatians 3:13-14. It says "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." Abraham remained obedient to God, faithfully obeyed, observed and followed God's commandments to the letter for the covenant to be active.
The Bible says in the book of Matthew 6:33, "Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." Seeking after God, as Abraham did, initiates you into a new order, new fellowship, and new relationship with God. When you obey, observe and comply with the Word of God, this powerful statement "all these things shall be added to you" is automatically activated with ease. Keep the covenant of this scripture and see your life blossom.
Seeking God first, actually means to trust Him with your life, and with all that you have. It also means to give to God not only when you are well off but also when you have little or nothing. It is an act of worshipping Him and this kind of sacrifice always opens up the gates and doors into God's heart to release miracles toward you. Please learn to give to God, wherever you worship and see for yourself how blossoming your life will look like. I pray, May God richly bless you, your family and all your endeavours in the mighty name of Jesus.
